Natura Docet Wonderryck Twente
Natura Docet Wonderryck Twente is the living museum and landscapecenter for the National Landscape Nordeast Twente. There is a lot to see here, inside and outside! Inside you can see for instance how a frog expierences life in the water near Bels watermill in Vasse.Outside in the garden the visitor experiences that via a particular piece of looking art. Across the bridge near the fens is a “wooden looking box” which will be grown by native climbers. Through holes in the top you find yourself in the watery wood of the neighbours. The stomach of the “looking animal” make you look at the waterplants.Through the ribs you see the waterlobia in the fens. A particular experience which gives living in nature a different feeling. Walking through the renewed garden ( a plan from Cees van der Veeke for Lola Landscape Architecs) you come through the waterywood with the fallen, still living oak,via the land where the rye grows to the bee-hotel.
